Mobility is about so much more than getting from one place to another. For a child with physical limitations, the right adaptive or mobility equipment can mean being able to attend school, play with friends, participate with family, explore their community, and experience greater independence.  It can provide opportunities that extend far beyond movement itself.

Yet access to appropriate equipment is not equal everywhere.  Children may go without equipment that could make everyday activities safer, easier, and more accessible- but not because the equipment does not exist, but because it is not available where they are.  We believe that such things should not determine what a child gets to experience. Costa Rica is where our mission begins.

Mobility doesn’t just change how a child moves through the world, it changes how much of the world they get to experience.
